After choosing a right-sized band for the tooth, the orthodontist applies some glue to the band, sets the glue with the blue light, and slides the band onto the tooth. The orthodontic brackets are placed on the teeth closer to the gum line to create a more appealing, aesthetic look by extruding the anterior teeth. The success rate for the procedure remains around 86-92%.
